Millions of people struggle to manage their Type 2 Diabetes Are you one of them ?

Type 2 Diabetes affects the quality of life for millions of adults. While sometimes diabetes can be controlled by exercise and diet, there are times when medication may be required. This is a research study to evaluate the safety and side effects of an investigational medication for treatment of Type 2 Diabetes.

Patient Inclusion Criteria:

  • Type 2 Diabetes with screen HbA1c of > 7.0 % and 11.0%
  • Being treated for at least 3 months with conventional insulin with or with Oral Medications
  • Are taking 1 or 2 doses of insulin daily
  • Are at least 18 years of age
  • Body Mass Index (BMI) between 23 and 45 kg

Patient Exclusion Criteria:

  • Patients with Type 1 Diabetes
  • Signs and symptoms of chronic pancreatitis
  • Evidence of rheumatoid arthritis
  • Have not had weight loss surgery
