Research Study Summary
A Phase III, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial in patients with Ankylosing Spondylitis (AS).
24-Week trial comparing treatment with Study Medicine vs. placebo.
Patient Inclusion Criteria:
- Age >/= 18
- Diagnosis of definite AS
- Active AS
- Inadequate response to treatment.
Patient Exclusion Criteria:
- Major Surgery within 8 weeks prior to screening
- Inflammatory Disease other than AS
- Treatment with Investigational Medication within 4 weeks
- Hepatitis B, C, or HIV
