Cardiovascular / Gout

The purpose of this research study is to examine the long-term cardiovascular safety and effectiveness of an FDA approved and recently licensed medication (Uloric®/febuxostat) compared to another approved medication (Allopurinol) for preventative treatment of an acute attack of gout. All study related procedures, physical exams, and study medication are at no cost to you. You will be compensated $1,440 prorated at $30.00 per completed visit and $15.00 per completed phone call.
