A 2 year clinical trial evaluating an investigational type 2 oral diabetes medication compared to a marketed diabetes medication

Inclusion Criteria:

  • 18 to 80 years of age
  • Taking metformin alone or in combination with one other oral diabetic medication , not a thiazolidinedione (TZD)
  • A1C between 7% and 9.5%

Inclusion Criteria:

  • No other major health issues
