A cardiology study for patients who must undergo CABG surgery
A research study of an investigational drug to evaluate whether it can reduce the risk of developing complications after CABG (coronary artery bypass graft)
surgery for patients who have significant coronary artery disease that may be
caused by blockage of one or more blood vessels in your heart and which
needs to be treated by a CABG surgery as the best choice
Patient must be 50 years of age or older, patient must be a high risk patient undergoing non-emergency CABG surgery requiring cardiopulmonary bypass and cardioplegia
Patient must not be involved in another research study
