Trial Information

RTOG #0627: Phase II Trial of Dasatinib in Patients with Recurrent Glioblastoma Multiforme

You have been asked to participate in this research study because you have a glioblastoma, a type of brain tumor that has grown following treatment with radiation and the drug temozolomide. The purpose of this study is to see if an anti-cancer drug called dasatinib is effective in treating glioblastoma. Your treatment on this study is expected to continue indefinitely, as long as your tumor doesn’t grow and you don’t have side effects or other problems that would prevent you from continuing the treatment.  After your treatment on this study is over, your medical condition will continue to be followed continuously for the rest of your life.
