Trial Information

Eligible research study participants must have facial redness associated with rosacea with few inflammatory lesions.

Study requirements and benefits

  • Two office visits (Screening and Treatment) with a board-certified Dermatologist
  • One application of an investigational topical gel
  • Study-related physical exams, eye exams and rosacea assessments
  • Compensation for time and travel
  • 12+ hour study Treatment visit

Study restrictions

  • No spicy and/or caffeinated foods or drink prior to or during the study Treatment visit
  • No topical products 24 hours prior to or during the study Treatment visit

Study Inclusion criteria:

  • Male or female 18 years of age or older
  • At least moderate facial erythema (redness) with 2 or fewer inflammatory facial lesions
  • Willingness to comply with study requirements including 12+ hour Treatment visit

Study Exclusion criteria:

  • History of Raynaud’s Syndrome, glaucoma, low blood pressure and/or dizziness when going from sitting to standing, circulatory problems of the hands or feet, brain or heart insufficiency, or depression
  • Past vision correction surgery
  • Abnormal intraocular pressure
  • Past diagnosis of rosacea involving mostly pimples, rosacea associated with the thickening of skin of the nose, or rosacea of the eye
