Having asthma flare-ups in spite of maintenance medication?
This study will examine the effect of Xolair on asthma exacerbations and the safety of Xolair in subjects with asthma who are not adequately controlled with ICS.
Patient Inclusion Criteria: Ages 12-75 with atopic asthma. Individuals must also have allergies to a perennial allergen such as cat or dust mite. They must have have had at least one exacerbation of asthma symptoms while on a stable ICS dose.
Patient Exclusion Criteria:
- Pregnancy or nursing
- Smoking history of greater than 10 pk yr
- Recieved Xolair in the past year
- Asprin or NSAID sensitivity.
