Inhalation Solution for Patients with Cystic Fibrosis Lung Disease - Adults
People with cystic fibrosis lung disease are asked to participate in a research study being conducted by Long Island Jewish Medical Center.
You may be eligible to participate in this study if you:
- Are at least 18 years of age or older
- Have been diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis (CF)
You may not participate in this study if you:
- Have abnormal liver or kidney function
- Have had a lung or liver transplant
- Have certain other diseases either related or unrelated to your CF
- Are currently taking certain medications (hypertonic saline or other hyperosmolar agents) that are not allowed in this study
- Have conditions such as alcoholism, drug abuse or psychiatric disorder
- Have participated in the Inspire Phase 3 Study 08-108
- Are pregnant, breastfeeding, or intend to become pregnant during the study
- Have participated in another research study within the last 30 days
