Trial Information

Mental Health: ADHD Give it your attention

There’s something satisfying about the sight and sound of active kids. But sometimes their activity can be less than reassuring. Some children have difficulty paying attention, are easily distracted, or are often irritable. Others may not be able to sit without fidgeting and tend to act first and think later. For some of these children, they experience difficulty reading and do not perform well in school.

If this sounds like your child, he or she may be eligible to participate in a clinical research study. For this trial, doctors are studying an FDA-approved medication for children who have the symptoms of attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder.

If your boy or girl is between the ages of 10 and 16 and behaves in an overactive, distracted, or inattentive manner, call 859-333-8996 to learn about this research study.

Your child may qualify for evaluations and study medication at no cost.
