Diabetes Shouldn’t Define You
Diabetes impacts the lives of millions of people each year, but it shouldn’t define who you are. If you’ve been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and are overweight you may already know how important it is to monitor your blood sugar, eat healthy and be active.
Physicians in your area are studying an investigational medication compared to an already approved medication in the treatment of type 2 diabetes.
Eligible participants are overweight and have type 2 diabetes. To qualify you must also be taking Metformin for the treatment of diabetes for at least 3 months. Patients receiving treatment with other diabetes medications within the past 3 months will not be allowed.
If you qualify, you will receive all study-related care, including physical exams, lab services, and study medications. During participation you will remain on a dose of Metformin.
