Wyeth HF/ Menapause Study 3307
This study involves an investigational hormonal drug, bazedozifene acetate/ conjugated estrogens (also called BZA/CE), which is being developed for the treatment of menopausal symptoms and prevention of postmenopausal osteoporosis. This drug is treat vasomotor symptoms like hot flashes, night sweats and all other symptoms associated with menopause.
The purpose of this study is to learn if BZ/CE drug is safe and effective in protecting the uterus from endometrial hyperplasia (abnormal growth of cells) and preventing post menopausal bone loss. This study will include Bone density scans and digital mammograms.
Duration: 1yr and 2 months long
