Partial Onset Seizure Research Study
Winthrop University Hospital Clinical Trials Center and the Division of eurology is seeking volunteers for a clinical research study to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of an investigational medication in the conversion of patients from their prior medication(s) to a new single medication. This study will evaluate the safety and effectiveness of an investigational drug, for patients with partial onset
seizures.
Qualified participants will receive study-related medical exams, research medication and laboratory tests at no cost, while participating in the research study.
Compensation for time and travel may also be provided.
To be eligible for the study, you must:
- Be at least 16 to 75 years old
- Have a diagnoses of partial onset seizures
- Be taking one or two other antiepileptic medication(s).
