Metastatic Gastric or Gastroesophageal Junction Adenocarcinoma
People with Metastatic Gastric or Gastroesophageal Junction Adenocarcinoma are asked to participate in a research study being conducted by Queens Hospital Center.
You may be eligible to participate in this study if you:
- Male or female at least 18 years of age
- Have metastatic disease or locally recurrent, unresectable disease with measurable lymph node metastases
- Have experienced disease progression during or within 4 months after the last dose of first-line therapy for metastatic disease, or during or within 6 months after the last dose of adjuvant therapy
- Know that your disease is not amenable to potentially curative resection
- Are female of childbearing potential must have a negative serum pregnancy test within 7 days prior to randomization
- Subjects must have histologically or cytologically confirmed adenocarcinoma of the breast with locally recurrent or metastic disease. Locally recurrent disease must not be amenable to resection with curative intent
- Life expectancy ≥ 12 weeks
You may not participate in this study if you:
- Have documented and/or symptomatic brain or leptomeningeal metastases
- Have experienced any Grade 3-4 gastrointestinal bleeding within 3 months prior to randomization
- Have an ongoing or active psychiatric illness or social situation that would limit compliance with study requirements
- Have a serious or non-healing wound, ulcer, or bone fracture within 28 days prior to randomization
- Have received any investigational therapy within 30 days prior to randomization
