A Phase 1 study of Safety, Tolerability and Systemic Absorption of Menadione Topical Lotion for Epidermal-Growth-Factor-Receptor (EGFR) Inhibitor-Associated Rash
This is a research study of an experimental treatment, Menadione Topical Lotion. (This lotion is not approved for use in people. We will compare the study drug lotion to a placebo lotion (lotion that contains no medication).
Hana Biosciences, Inc., the company that is developing Menadione lotion, is the sponsor of this study. A treatment for some types of cancer has a side effect which causes a serious skin rash. The Menadione lotion is being studied to treat this rash. The study is a Phase 1 study which means it is going to look at how safe it is to use this lotion.
