Trial Information
A Phase I Study of MM-10-001 In Advanced Non Small Lung Cancer
You have been asked to participate in this research study because you have advanced non-small cell lung cancer (Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer-NSCLC) that is no longer getting better with standard chemotherapy (for example, cisplatin or carboplatin). The purpose of this research study is to determine the highest possible dose of the investigational drug MM-10-001 that can be given before unmanageable side effects are seen and to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of MM-10-001. Repeated blood samples will be taken before and after the first dose of MM-10-001 is given to show how treatment with MM-10-001 works and how it affects the immune system. Blood specimens will also be taken to see how MM-10-001 effects cytokines (proteins in the cell that allow communication between cells). Another purpose is to determine the quality of life of subjects receiving the treatment given on this study. Your treatment on this study is expected to last for as long as your cancer does not grow and you have no unmanageable side effects. After you complete treatment, your medical condition will be followed indefinitely.
