Do you have Arthritis in your Hip? Volunteer for a clinical research study.
This research study is testing the effectiveness and safety of an investigational medication that is administered by infusion once every 8 weeks. It will be compared to oral naproxen (which is currently prescribed for arthritis) and a placebo (inactive substance).
Duration: Up to 8 visits over 28 weeks
Qualified participants will receive all the following at no cost:
- Study related physical exams
- Study medication
- Lab work
- X-rays (if needed)
- Electrocardiograms (ECGs), which is a test that measures the electrical activity of the heart
Qualified participants will receive compensation up to $370 for time and travel expenses. Participants will also have an opportunity to volunteer for an extension study at the conclusion of this study, in which they would receive the investigational medication for a year.

To qualify you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have arthritis of the hip
- Have moderate to severe pain
- Meet all study entry requirements including Body Mass Index (BMI)
