A Phase 3, Randomized, Double-Blind, Placebo-Controlled, Parallel-Group Study to Evaluate the Efficacy and Safety of VX-770 in Subjects with Cystic Fibrosis and the G551D Mutation
People with Cystic Fibrosis are asked to participate in a research study being conducted by Long Island Jewish Medical Center.
You may be eligible to participate in this study if you:
- Male or female aged 12 years or older
- Have confirmed diagnosis of cystic fibrosis
- Are able to understand and comply with protocol requirements, restrictions, and instructions and likely to complete the study as planned, as judged by the investigator
You may not participate in this study if you have:
- History of any illness or condition that, in the opinion of the investigator might confound the results of the study or pose an additional risk in administering study drug to the subject
- Have a history of solid organ or hematological transplantation
- Or, if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or intend to become pregnant during the study
