Parkinson's Disease - Adults
Adults with Parkinson's Disease are asked to participate in a research study being conducted by Mount Sinai School of Medicine.
You may be eligible to participate in this study if you:
- Are at least 30 years of age
- Are diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease (PD) without any known cause for Parkinsonism
- Are able and willing to comply with the protocol, including availability for all scheduled clinic visits and telephone calls
You may not participate in this study if you:
- Are pregnant or breastfeeding
- Are diagnosed with atypical Parkinsonism (does not respond to certain current therapies)
- Have active or prior medical conditions such as digestive ulcers or prior surgery procedure that would interfere with a drug called levodopa
- Have a history of glaucoma
- Are an employee or family member of the Investigator, study site or the sponsor
