One-Day Rest/Stress Cardiac Positron Emission Tomography (PET) Perfusion Imaging- Adults

People who have recently had a scan of their heart using SPECT (Single-Photon-Emission, Computed Tomography) are asked to participate in a research study being conducted by Montefiore Medical Center.

You may be eligible to participate in this study if you:

  • Are male or female at least 18 years of age
  • Can provide signed informed consent prior to undergoing any study procedures,/li>
  • Are a female who is non-lactating and no longer have child-bearing potential

You may not participate in this study if you:

  • Have a history of transient ischemic attack or stroke
  • Have a history of seizure disorder
  • Have a known hypersensitivity to adenosine, dipyridamole or aminophylline
  • Have known or suspected bronchoconstrictive or bronchospastic lung disease
