A Double-Blind, Randomized, Parallel, Placebo-Controlled, Multicenter Study Evaluating the Effect of Treatment with Topically Administered Oxybutynin Gel in Patients with Urinary Frequency, and Urge and Mixed Urinary Incontinence with a Predominance of Urge Incontinence Episodes.
Oxybutynin is a drug used for the treatment of OAB with symptoms of urge urinary incontinence. Oral and transdermal (patch) formulations of oxybutynin have previously been evaluated in clinical research studies and approved, but, to date, there have not been any clinical research studies evaluating a gel formulation of oxybutynin.
Patient Inclusion Criteria: Must be 18 years of age and have over active bladder symptoms for at least 3 months.
Patient Exclusion Criteria: Known allergy to oxybutynin.
