Major Depressive Disorder - Adults
People with major depressive disorder are asked to participate in a research study being conducted by Montefiore Medical Center.
You may be eligible to participate in this study if you:
- Are male or female 18 to 65 years of age
- Are not morbidly obese (as measured by a body mass index (BMI) of between 18 and 40)
- Have a normal physical examination findings, clinical laboratory results, and ECG at the first study visit
- Are a female of childbearing potential who is not pregnant
You may not participate in this study if you:
- Have a history of depressive episode with psychotic features
- Have obsessive compulsive disorder
- Suffer from bulimia or anorexia nervosa
- Have a history of mental retardation, delirium, dementia amnesia, or any other cognitive disorders
