Tadalafil 2.5mg and 5mg Once a Day Compared to Placebo in Day of Onset of Efficacy
Are you a man who’s been having Erectile Dysfunction symptoms for at least three months now? You may qualify for a new clinical research study using an investigational medication that’s designed for the treatment of Erectile Dysfunction or E.D. West Coast Clinical Research is conducting this study. Call them at 818-776-0820 to see if you may be a candidate for this ED study. To be eligible, you must be a male, eighteen years of age or older with a history of ED of three months duration or longer. You must also anticipate having the same female partner during the study. If you qualify, all study-related care will be provided at no cost, including study-related exams and study medication. You may be compensated for your time and travel. Call West Coast Clinical Research at 818-776-O820 to determine if you pre-qualify for this research study taking Tadalafil, an oral medication designed for the treatment of ED
To be in this study, you should:
- Be a male, at least 18 years old and have at least a three (3) month history of ED and are willing to participate in this study
- Have the same adult female sexual partner during the study who is willing to participate in the required number of intercourse attempts during the study
Agree to make at least four (4) attempts at sexual intercourse with your female sexual partner during the Screening Period
- Agree to make at least one (1) attempt at sexual intercourse with your female sexual partner on Days 1 through 4 (at least 3 attempts are required), once you start taking the study drug
- Agree to make at least three (3) attempts at sexual intercourse with your female sexual partner on Days 5 through 15 of taking study drug
- Use the study drug only as instructed by your study doctor and staff, and to return any unused study drug, packaging, and containers, as instructed by the study doctor
- Not use any other treatment for ED, including herbal medications, during the study
You cannot participate in this study if you:
- Have taken or are currently taking tadalafil or any other PDE5 inhibitor on a daily basis
- Are taking medications called nitrates (nitroglycerin), for heart disease
- Have significant kidney problems or liver problems
- Have chest pain (unstable angina or angina) requiring medical treatment
- Have heart disease where less than ordinary activity causes you to have symptoms
- Have had any of the following in the past 90 days -
- Heart attack (myocardial infarction)
- Heart bypass surgery (coronary artery bypass graft surgery)
- A procedure to open up blood vessels in the heart (angioplasty) or stent placement
- Have uncontrolled high or low blood pressure
- Have uncontrolled diabetes
- Have had a stroke or a significant injury to your spine
- Are being treated for cancer
- Have a history of Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) infection
- Are an employee of the investigative site or you are an immediate family member of an employee of the investigative site. Immediate family member is defined as spouse, parent, child, or sibling, whether biological or legally adopted
- Are an employee of Eli Lilly and Company
