Adults between the ages of 18-60 having trouble with inattention, concentration, disorganization, restlessness and/or other ADHD symptoms are invited to participate in a research study that examines the effects of a medication of Vyvanse on the heart. This study is a 7-month open-label (involves active medication only, no chance of placebo) trial of Vyvanse. Vyvanse is FDA approved for the treatment of ADHD in adults. Participants will complete an exercise test and heart ultrasound at the beginning and end of the study. Participants will also be given a blood pressure monitor to measure their blood pressure at home during the study. All participants can receive two months of follow-up care at no cost after the completion of the study. Please call 617-724-ADHD for more information.
