Pomegranate and Quality of Life Study for HIV-Positive Persons
AIDS Research Alliance is studying the effect of pomegranate juice in HIV-positive individuals.
You may be eligible if you are:
- At least 18-years old
- Are HIV-positive
- NOT taking HIV meds or are OFF HIV meds
- Have a CD4 count above 350
Study Volunteers will:
- Part 1: Receive either one of two pomegranate juice formulations or a placebo (an inactive drug) for 10 weeks
- Part 2 (for people receiving placebo in Part 1): Receive 8 weeks of pomegranate juice formulation.
Study Volunteers will be compensated $25 per visit for their time and inconvenience.
