Anti-Diarrhea Treatment Study for HIV-Associated Diarrhea
AIDS Research Alliance is studying an investigational drug for treating HIV-associated diarrhea.
You may be eligible if you are:
- At least 18-years old
- Are HIV-positive
- Had diarrhea for at least one month
Study Volunteers will:
- Receive either one of three different doses of the research drug or a placebo (an inactive drug) for 31 days.
- Receive the research drug for 20 weeks (no placebo).
Study Volunteers will be compensated $50 per visit for their time and inconvenience.
