Seizures: Do You or a Family Member Have Seizures
Researchers with the University of Kentucky College of Medicine, Department of Emergency Medicine, are conducting a study to find the best way for paramedics to stop someone from seizing before they reach the hospital.
The Rapid Anticonvulsant Medications Prior to Arrival Trial (RAMPART) is a research study comparing IV Lorazepam to Midazolam given as a shot in the muscle, to determine which anti-seizure medicine works faster.
