Trial Information

Research activities for Adolescents and Adults with Intellectual disabilities

Do you have an Adolescent or young Adult with an intellectual or learning disability?

Researchers at Boston University would be happy to enroll you or your child in a one-time research study for 3 to 4 hours scheduled at your convenience. Participants will be compensated $15 for each hour of the research completed (up to $60) and travel expenses will be covered.

Study involves a standardized assessment of cognition and simple computer activities.

Study takes place at Boston University School of Medicine in South Boston. Free Parking is provided.

Patient Inclusion Criteria:

  • Ages between 12 and 36 years old
  • Diagnosis of an intellectual or learning disability

Patient Exclusion Criteria:

  • Diagnosis of Autism
  • Diagnosis of other genetic disorders (e.g., FX, PWS)
  • Other physically handicapping conditions (e.g., cerebral palsy)
  • Frank neurological disease
  • Significant dysmorphology without diagnosis
