PHII-89; NCI #7713: A Phase II Study of Sunitinib Malate in Recurrent or Metastatic Endometrial Carcinoma
You have been asked to participate in this research study because have endometrial cancer (cancer of the uterus) that is either recurrent (has returned after initial treatment) or has metastasized (spread beyond the uterus). The purpose of this research study is to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of the investigational agent sunitinib malate on advanced or metastatic endometrial cancer. Your treatment on this study is expected to last for as long as your disease is not growing and you are not having any unmanageable side effects. After your treatment on this study is over, your medical condition will continue to be followed indefinitely.
