New treatment aimed at slowing down the progression of Alzheimer’s disease
A Phase III, Multicenter, Randomized, Double-Blind, Placebo-Controlled, Parallel Group, Efficacy and Safety Trial of Bapineuzumab in Patients with Mild to Moderate Alzheimer’s Disease
This two-year study is evaluating the safety and efficacy of an investigational medication as add-on treatment for patients with Alzheimer’s disease.
Major Inclusion/Exclusion Criteria:
- Ages 50-88
- Mild to moderate disease
- Must be living at home with caregiver
- Pacemakers, or any metal fragments in the body that would contradict a brain MRI are exclusionary
