New medicine for patients with Multiple Sclerosis experiencing Neuropathic Pain
Cymbalta in Patients with Central Neuropathic Pain Due to Multiple Sclerosis
This five month study is designed to study the effectiveness of Cymbalta compared to placebo in treating neuropathic pain due to Multiple Sclerosis.
Major Inclusion/Exclusion Criteria:
- Ages 18 and above
- Must be diagnosed with MS for at least one year
- Must experience chronic daily pain (from MS)
- May continue other analgesic medications if on stable dose
- May not be taking any anti-depressant medication
