Trial Information
Menstrual Migraine Research Study
This clinical research study is evaluating the effectiveness of an investigational birth control pill for treating menstrually-related migraine headaches (headaches that occur just before or during the first few days of your menstrual period). Women 18 to 34 years of age who meet the study criteria may qualify. This study is approximately 20 weeks long with 5 study visits and compares an investigational drug to placebo, a look alike drug that does not have any active medicine. Although the investigational drug is a birth control pill, the purpose of this study is not to prevent pregnancy, so you must be willing to use a non-hormonal form of birth control for the duration of the study. You will have a 50/50 chance of receiving the investigational birth control pill. This study is enrolling at our Dallas office at 635/Webb Chapel. Compensation may be available for time and travel. To see if you may qualify for this study, call Research Across America at 972-4-DOCTOR (436-2867).
