Kidney Disease Study CSBR759A2201

Novartis is conducting this clinical research study to find out if the study drug is better than sevelamer HCl at reducing phosphate levels in the blood of participants on dialysis. This study drug is an investigational drug, which means it is being tested and is not approved for sale in the United States by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

Total participation in this study will last for about 12 months. There will be a total of 28 study visits. All will take place during the first dialysis treatment of the week. The first 16 visits and the last 2 visits will occur weekly and all others only once a month.
