Are you or someone you know between the ages of 50 and 89 years of age with a diagnosis of mild to moderate Alzheimer's Disease?

The Billings Clinic Research Center is currently recruiting participants to participate in an investigational drug trial evaluating the safety and effectiveness of Bapineuzamab in patients with mild to moderate Alzheimer's Disease. All physical and neurological examinations associated with the study trial will be provided at no cost to the patient. You may even receive compensation for your participation.

PatientInclusionCriteria
Male/Female between the ages of 50 to 89 years of age; diagnosis of Probable Alzheimer's Disease according to the National Institute of Neurological & Communicative Disorders and Stroke-Alzheimer's Disease & Related Disorders Association criteria; living at home with appropriate caregiver capable of accompanying the patient on all clinic visits or appropriate similar situation; must have adequate visual and auditory abilities to perform all aspects of the cognitive and functional assessments.

Patient Exclusion Criteria
Significant neurological disease, other than Alzheimer's Disease, that may affect cognition; current presence of a clinically significant major psychiatric disorder; clinically significant systemic illness that is likely to result in deterioration of the patient's condition or affect the patient's safety; history of clinical evident stroke or carotid or vertebrobasilar stenosis; history of seizures; uncontrolled hypertension with the last six months.

PrimaryOutcomes
To demonstrate an advantage of the efficacy of multiple doses of intravenously (IV) administered bapineuzumab in patients with mild to moderate Alzheimer's Disease over placebo.
