Trial Information

Seeking Women, Men, ages 16-70 with partial seizures and are taking 1 or 2 anti-epileptic drugs for research study.

UVa Health System, Neurology Department, F.E. Dreifuss Comprehensive Epilepsy Program seeks Women, Men, ages 16-70 with partial seizures and are taking 1 or 2 anti-epileptic drugs for research study.

The purpose of the study is to see if the investigational drug, when taken alone, affects the type, number, length and severity of seizures. Another purpose of the study is to find out if there are side effects when the investigational drug is used without other anti-epileptic drugs.
Your participation in this study will require 14 study visits over 30 weeks. Each visit will last 1 to 2 hours.


Study-related exams, and tests provided free of charge.

You will be compensated $50.00 for time and travel for all completed study related office visits.
