Do you suffer from Sleep Apnea and Depression with Excessive Daytime Sleepiness?
Trouble staying awake during the day?
Every morning, thousands of people with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) and depression wake up tired. The purpose of this research study is to determine if an FDA-approved drug for reducing daytime sleepiness in people with treated OSA is also effective in people with treated OSA and depression.
Who qualifies for this study?
If you are between the ages of 18 and 65 years old, you may qualify for this study if:
- You have daytime sleepiness caused by obstructive sleep apnea
- You use CPAP therapy to treat your apnea
- You are taking a prescription medication for depression
Patient Exclusion Criteria: Patients who have a confirmed or suspected diagnosis of a currently active sleep disorder other than Obstructive Sleep Apnea/Hypopnea.
