Trial Information

Clinical trial to test a study vaccine for Meningococcal disease in healthy toddlers

The purpose of the study is to determine whether an experimental vaccine against meningococcal disease can be given together with a vaccine against mumps, measles, rubella and varicella.

Study drug and study procedures will be made available to you at no cost.

To qualify for Group I & II, subject must:

  • Be 7-9 months old

To qualify for Group III, subject must:

  • Be 12 months old
  • Have received complete primary vaccination with recommended licensed vaccines

Your child will not qualify if they:

  • Had previous or suspected infection with measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and/or herpes zoster
  • Have received any investigational drugs, devices or vaccines within 90 days prior to participating in this clinical trial
  • Have a history of asthma, anaphylactic shock (severe whole body type of allergic reaction) , urticaria (hives), or other allergic reaction after previous vaccinations
