Inhalation Solution for Patients with Cystic Fibrosis Lung Disease - Adults and minors
People with cystic fibrosis lung disease are asked to
participate in a research study being conducted by The Irving
Goldman Family Care Center of North Shore LIJ Health System.
You may be eligible to participate in this study if you
or your child:
- Is at least 5 years of age or older
- Has been diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis (CF)
You may not participate in this study if you or your
child:
- Has abnormal liver or kidney function
- Has had a lung or liver transplant
- Has certain other diseases either related or unrelated to your
CF
- Is currently taking certain medications (hypertonic saline or
other hyperosmolar agents) that are not allowed in this study
- Has conditions such as alcoholism, drug abuse or psychiatric
disorder
- Has participated in the Inspire Phase 3 Study 08-108
- Is pregnant, breastfeeding, or intend to become pregnant during
the study
- Has participated in another research study within the last 30
days
