Primary Brain Cancer - Adults
People with primary brain cancer (tumors in the brain) are asked
to participate in a research study being conducted by Mount Sinai
School of Medicine.
You may be eligible to participate in this study if
you:
- Are at least 18 years of age
- Have been diagnosed or relapsed with primary brain
cancer
You may not participate in this study if
you:
- Have had serious hypersensitivity reactions to Cremophor®
EL
- Have greater than second relapse. Relapse is defined as
progression following attempted curative therapy (with or without
chemotherapy).
- Have had treatment with platinum-based chemotherapy
- Have a history of cardiovascular disease or stroke
- Have history of high blood pressure
- Are pregnant, breastfeeding, or intend to become pregnant
during the study
- Have participated in another research study within the last 30
days
