Shingles Research study
Dr.Clark and the research department at the Longmont Clinic are
currently enrolling in a research study of an investigational
medication for shingles (herpes zoster). The study will last
approximately 4 weeks and requires approximately 11 visits to the
Longmon Clinic.
Criteria to participate
- 18 years of age or older
- Signs and symptoms of acute shingles (herpes zoster
disease)
- Onset of the shingles rash no more that 72 hours prior to
enrolling on the study
- No previous shingles vaccination
- Generally healthy
The study provides:
- All study related or required exams
- Study medication
- Compensation for time and travel
