"They said my surgery could affect my desire...and it did."

Sexual intimacy is an important part of a relationship.

But when desire diminishes after your ovaries are removed at the time of hysterectomy, your relationship can be affected physically and emotionally.

If you are not satisfied with your sex life after your surgery, you may be qualified to take part in a research study for women. This study will evaluate whether an investigational medication will help give back the desire women with low sexual desire once had.

To qualify, you must:

  • Be between 30 and 65
  • Have had a hysterectomy with both ovaries removed
  • Be on a stable does of estrogen
  • Be in a stable relationship with one man

Qualified participants will receive all study-related care, including physical exams, laboratory testing services, and study medication.
