Evaluation of P53 Specific Immunity

You have been asked to participate in this research study because you have cancer.  The purpose of this study is to determine if blood and lymph node cells taken from subjects with cancer can be stimulated in the laboratory with a vaccine so that they react with Bcl-XL, a protein found in tumor cells.  Your participation in this study is expected to last until you have donated your blood or completed your upcoming cancer surgery, which is about three months.
