HORIZON Therapeutics protocol HZ-CA-301: A Randomized, Double-Blind, Phase 3 Study of the Efficacy and Safety of HZT-501 in Subjects Requiring NSAID Treatment

Horizon Therapeutics is conducting a clinical research study evaluating an investigational medication that combines a medication with proven pain relief (NSAID) with proven stomach protection-into one singe pill. Published studies show that NSAID pain relievers taken alone can cause stomach ulcers in up to 1 in 4 people who take them for chronic pain relief.

Compensation for time and travel will be provided.

The study requires that you must be:

  • 40 years or older
  • suffering from chronic pain such as: osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, lower back or other joint-related pain
  • interested in participating in a clinical study that closely monitors your health

Compensation for time and travel will be provided.

Study participation includes, at no cost to you:

  • study visits with experienced medical professionals
  • study drug for up to 7 months
  • study procedures and evaluations
