Physical Therapy: Female Volunteers Needed for Research Study on Knee Pain

Researchers at the University of Kentucky College of Health Sciences are conducting research to determine how different exercises affect pain, strength, muscle activity, and function in female subjects with knee pain.

You may be able to participate if you are:

  • a female ages 17-35;
  • experiencing knee pain for at least one month;
    and
  • are otherwise healthy.

Total study time will be approximately 10 hours over 6 weeks. If you participate in this study, a certified athletic trainer will instruct you in a free rehabilitation program designed to treat the knee pain you are currently experiencing.
