A Phase II Study of Allogeneic Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplant for B–Cell Non–Hodgkin Lymphoma Using Zevalin®, Fludarabine and Melphalan

You have been asked to participate in this research study because you have a CD20 positive, B–Cell Non–Hodgkin’s Lymphoma (NHL) or Mantle Cell Lymphoma (MCL) which has relapsed (returned after treatment) or is refractory (no longer responding) to treatment; and you are a candidate for an allogeneic (from a matched donor) peripheral blood stem cell transplant (APBSCT).  The objectives of this study are to 1) evaluate the safety and effectiveness of adding two investigational agents, the monoclonal antibody (MAb) Rituxan® and the radiolabeled MAb 90Y–Zevalin®, to standard chemotherapy, Fludarabine and Melphalan, followed by an APBSCT.  The study will also evaluate short– and long–term complications, including rates of engraftment, acute and chronic Graft–Versus–Host–Disease (GVHD) and infections.  In addition, the study will evaluate estimate disease response, disease relapse and non–relapse mortality.  Your treatment on this study is expected to last about 3 to 6 months (pre- and post-transplant).  After your treatment on this study is over, your medical condition will be followed indefinitely, depending on how you responded to study treatment.
