Interested in your Bone Health?
Osteoporosis is a disease in which your bones become fragile and
more likely to break. It affects millions of women.
The Billings Clinic Research Center is currently enrolling
post-menopausal females, 50-75 years, in a research study to
evaluate an experimental medication for osteoporosis versus a
currently marketed osteoporosis medication.
Eligible volunteers will not be charged for
- Routine physical exam
- Mammogram
- Calcium/Vitamin D supplements
- Bone density scan
- Study drug
Osteoporosis risk factors
- Age
- Female
- Family history of osteoporosis
- Personal previous fracture as an adult
- Small boned, thin frame
- Normal or early onset menopause
- Cigarette smoking
