hTERT Immunotherapy Alone or in Combination With IL-12 DNA Followed by Electroporation in Adults With Solid Tumors at High Risk of Relapse

This is a Phase I, open label study to evaluate the safety, tolerability, and immunogenicity of INO-1400 alone or in combination with INO-9012, delivered by electroporation in subjects with high-risk solid tumor cancer with no evidence of disease after surgery and standard therapy. Subjects will be enrolled into one of ...

Study of ASN003 in Subjects With Advanced Solid Tumors

The study will be conducted in two parts. Part A is a dose escalation study to determine a safe and tolerable dose of ASN003 for subjects with advanced solid tumors. Part A will also characterize the pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of ASN003 through blood sampling and optional biopsies.. Part B will ...

A Phase 1/2 Study to Investigate the Safety Biologic and Anti-tumor Activity of ONCOS-102 in Combination With Durvalumab in Subjects With Advanced Peritoneal Malignancies

This is a two-part Phase 1/2 dose escalation and dose expansion study of the GMCSFencoding adenovirus, ONCOS-102, in combination with anti-programmed death ligand-1 (PDL1) antibody, durvalumab, in adult subjects with peritoneal disease who have failed prior standard chemotherapy and have histologically confirmed platinum-resistant or refractory epithelial ovarian cancer or colorectal ...

Phase

Study of MK-8353 in Combination With Pembrolizumab (MK-3475) in Participants With Advanced Malignancies (MK-8353-013)

This study will evaluate the safety, tolerability and preliminary efficacy of MK-8353 when administered in combination with pembrolizumab (MK-3475). There are two parts in this study: Part 1 will be dose escalation and confirmation, and Part 2 will be a cohort expansion. In Part 1, the recommended phase II dose ...

Phase

Phase I of SGM-101 in Patients With Cancer of the Colon Rectum or Pancreas

Surgery is the most important therapy for patients with cancer of the colon, rectum or pancreas. Complete resection, which is a crucial factor in the prognosis of a patient, is challenging as surgeons have to rely on visual appearance and palpation to discriminate between tumor and normal tissue. Carcinoembryonic antigen ...

Intravenous Iron for Correction of Anaemia After Colorectal Surgery

The Aim: to assess the effect of treatment of preoperative anaemia with intravenous iron on haematological parameters for patients after elective colorectal surgery. Primary Hypothesis: postoperative treatment with intravenous iron increases the levels of haemoglobin, ferritin, red cell count and is superior compared to placebo. Secondary effects: treatment with intravenous ...

Double Blinded Randomized Clinical Trial of the Effect of Open Versus Laparoscopic Colectomy on Neutrophils in Patients With Colon Cancer

Colorectal cancer is the leading cause of death worldwide. Tumour cell extravasation plays a key role in tumour metastasis. There are evidences tumour cell-leukocyte interactions may support tumour cell invasion and could create an optimal microenvironment for tumour growth at the metastatic site. Neutrophils produce free radicals and proteases; they ...

Transhepatic Arterial Chemotherapy (TAC) Versus Transcatheter Arterial Chemoembolization (TACE) Plus Folfox4 as the Treatment of Unresectable Liver Metastasis of Colorectal Cancer

We administered three cycles FOLFOX4 plus TAC(oxaliplatin,FUDR and MMC) or FOLFOX4 plus TACE(oxaliplatin,FUDR,MMC and embolision) to primary colorectal tumor resected patients with unresected liver metastasis. The study endpoints were resection rate of liver metastasis, progression-free survival, overall survival as evaluated by intent-to-treat analysis.

Phase

Preoperative Transhepatic Arterial Chemotherapy (TAC) in the Treatment of Liver Metastasis of Resectable Colorectal Cancer

We administered TAC(oxaliplatin,FUDR and MMC) 7 days before liver metastasis resection of colorectal cancer. The study endpoints were progression free survival and overall survival as evaluated by intent-to-treat analysis.

Phase

The Northern-European Initiative on Colorectal Cancer

Colorectal cancer (CRC) is a major burden in western countries. The disease develops from precursor lesions during a long time-interval. Colonoscopy can detect and remove CRC precursor lesions and may thus be effective for CRC prevention. Many national and international health organisations demand evidence from randomised trials to reduce incidence ...
