Are you pregnant? Are you feeling sad, overwhelmed or depressed? Washington University seeks participants for research study to look at a type of talk therapy.

Detailed Study Description

The goal of this research study is test a new psychotherapeutic intervention for pregnant women experiencing depressive symptoms with a specific focus on alleviating the depression and strengthening parenting skills and the mother-infant relationship postpartum. This study will last 14 – 16 months depending on the time of the participant’s enrollment. Mothers will take part in 20 study visits lasting up to 1 hour and assessment visits lasting 30-180 minutes. Benefits and risks will be discussed with participants as part of the informed consent process. Up to $180 is provided for time and effort.
