A Washington University research study seeks females 50 or older.

Detailed Study Description

A Washington University research study is currently enrolling participants to look at the effects of certain medications taken for high blood pressure and genetic make-up on hearing loss in Caucasian women over the age 50. This study includes up to 3 study visits (up to 21/2 hours each). Participation includes hearing, measurement of blood pressure and a possible blood draw. $25 per visit is provided. Risks and benefits will be discussed as part of the informed consent process.
