Ambulatory Post-Syncope Arrhythmia Protection Feasibility Study Protocol

Brief description of study

This research study is investigating a medical device called the ZOLL Short-term use Wearable Defibrillator (“SWD 1000”).  A defibrillator is a device used to control an abnormal heart beat by applying an electric current, also known as "shocking", to the chest wall or heart. We are asking you to take part in this study to understand how patients and medical personnel interact with the SWD 1000 and to confirm it performs as designed. The SWD 1000 is not yet approved for commercial use by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

Clinical Study Identifier: TX209902
